The Heartland trail runs strait from Nevis into Dorset, its a great destination for a scenic bike trip. There is a park and of course plenty of places to eat or maybe just stop for a refreshing ice-cream cone before you get back on the trail. If you want to see a real spectacle come to town during the Annual Taste of Dorset. The town swells to capacity with people ready to enjoy samples of what these restaurants have to offer. Rocky's Pizza: This is the best pizza place in the area with a large screen TV upstairs, video games and great pizza in Park Rapids.
